rainy day in the andes
March 16th was a rainy day in the Andes. We climbed for 3 hours in the rain and then descended to have our brakes just wear down to the metal. My bike at 130 lbs. I had no stopping power. 9 percent grades cold and wet 52 degrees. I was scared.

Lost in Southern Chile
We are doing well. The roads are very rocky and mountainous. Our 100 km per day is now to 40 or 50 km per day. Camping and bathing are in a different dimension. Scenery of the Andes is like nothing else.
